These, Tom, are the Causeheads. They find a world-threatening issue and stick with it for about a week.Scenario: An opportunistic trio of politically-minded college students—one identifying as an anarchist, the second as a socialist, and the third as a pacifist—go to their nation’s capital to participate in a protest against/for ----------------------. However, due to certain unfortunate events (e.g. one forgets to set one’s alarm clock, another gets on the wrong train/bus, another is mugged and hospitalized by a one-legged, one-toothed heroin-addict), they arrive a day too late. All the news media that had been covering the protest are gone, and the trio feel it necessary to do something... provocative to create publicity for their cause.
